Kayleigh Price Named Honorary Councilmember by Granbury City Council

The Granbury City Council named Baccus Elementary Student Council President Kayleigh Price an Honorary Councilmember at the January 15, 2019 City Council Meeting in recognition of her academic excellence, leadership, and representation of the qualities of an excellent councilmember.

Kayleigh is the daughter of Ashleigh and Jacob Price and a 5th grader at Baccus Elementary, where she leads by example both in and out of the classroom. Not only is she the Student Council President, but she is also on the A Honor Roll and participates in the Gifted and Talented program. She also participates in basketball, soccer, softball, and recently made it to the Junior Olympics for cross country. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing with her dogs and horses.

The Granbury City Council will continue to recognize exceptional students involved in student council from different schools in the Granbury Independent School District at future City Council meetings.
