Hood County COVID-19 Interim Update – 1-12-2021, 12PM

This is an update based on numbers from reports received from our testing locations on positive cases in the community to DSHS for Hood County.

DSHS Reports a total of 4779 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Hood County residents. (958 new Cases so far for the month of January)

We are at 72 COVID positive deaths reported for Hood County residents. (0 new deaths since the last update)

We have tested a total of 38,812 citizens in Hood County.

Our TSA Regional Hospital Rate as of 1/10/2021 is 27.09%. 12.09% over the 15% threshold required by the state.

36 currently reported hospitalizations, all other active cases have been directed to self-isolate at home.

Hood County is currently at SUBSTANTIAL risk of COVID-19 transmission.
