Temporary Water Shut-Off in Lakewood Hills Planned for Feb. 5

The City of Granbury is in the process of upgrading several areas of the City’s water distribution system, including the mains that supply Lakewood Hills. For the current phase of upgrading these water mains, it will be necessary to shut off the water supply to part of the Lakewood Hills area on Monday, February 5 at 10:00 p.m. Water will only be shut off for a few hours.

The initial plan is only to shut off the water on Rockview Dr. from Portal Dr. to Vista Dr.  If the primary valves do not function properly, crews will have to shut off the water farther to the east. This will include Timberwood Ct., Northwood Ct., Lakewood Trl., Yucca Ct., Yucca Dr., Post Oak Ter., and Lakewood Ct.

Work is being done at this time of night in attempt to minimize the inconvenience to the residents of the affected areas.

Questions about the work can be directed to Water Superintendent Paul Gast at (817)573-7030.
