G.P.D. Officers Catch Tailgate Thief At Car Lot

On Saturday, February 4th around 9pm, a
Granbury PD Officer noticed a suspicious
person at the 2600 block of Hwy. 377 W
at a local car lot.
After further investigation by the Officer
and Deputies, it was determined that Billy
Wade Black, 35, had removed a tailgate
from a truck. The tailgate was valued at
approx. $1,700.

Black was arrested and charged with Theft
with 2 Previous Convictions (state jail
felony-bond $5,000).

Black is currently out of jail on bond at press
time.
