The Granbury Police Department will host its annual Burgers & Badges fundraiser on October 28 from 5 to 9 p.m. at GRUMPS Burgers, located at 3503 E Highway 377 in Granbury. The event combines a community dining experience with police engagement, featuring officers who will serve hot burger meals directly to attendees.
Fifty percent of all meal proceeds from the event will support the Granbury Police Department’s special programs and initiatives. The funds benefit the Citizens Police Academy Alumni, a 501(c)(3) organization that assists the police department in creating programs and events for the community.
This year marks another installment of the partnership between the Granbury Police Department and GRUMPS Burgers, which has supported the fundraiser since 2004. The restaurant’s ongoing collaboration with the department reflects a two-decade commitment to local law enforcement causes.
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with police personnel in an informal setting, and police K-9 units will be on-site during the event. The combination of food service by officers and K-9 participation creates what organizers describe as the “perfect GPD combo,” emphasizing great food, paw patrol activities, and dedicated officers.
For additional information or to inquire about the event, community members can contact GRUMPS Burgers at 817-573-5000. The event is open to the public and serves as a fundraising mechanism that directly supports law enforcement training and community engagement programs in Hood County. Come hungry and support your local officers—50% of your meal goes to a cause that benefits the community.
