Granbury Oktoberfest 2025
Granbury will host Oktoberfest from October 3 through October 5, 2025, featuring vendors, live music, games, contests and ceremonies across multiple days. The event schedule includes activities around the square, a polka dance night, family-oriented contests and German cultural performances.
The festival opens on Friday, October 3. Vendors will be present from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. An opening ceremony is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., a polka dance night will take place at Ft. Plaza with Off the Grid Band performing.
On Saturday, October 4, vendors will be on site from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A German pet parade is planned for 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. German games with cash and prizes are scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A kids hot dog eating contest will run from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by an adult (18+) sausage eating contest from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The day concludes with a German game night, offering cash and prizes, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 5, will feature vendors from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. German dancers will perform from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by additional German games from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Another German dancers performance is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The festival will hold a closing ceremony from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
