Hood County Sheriff’s Office modifies calls for service for Deputies

Hood County Sheriff’s Office is staying vigilant on the COVID-19 (corona virus) and Hood County appears to be in good shape as of press time.

In an effort to keep employees and the public safe, we are taking non-emergency reports over the phone. Any written statements or paperwork that is needed can be filled out and emailed to the Deputy.

We are currently modifying our website to make it user friendly for filing non-emergency reports and filing complaints with the Sheriff’s Office.

When the report filing system is up and running, the public will be notified.

Any emergency call or 911 call will be answered by a responding Deputy in person.

Quote from Sheriff Roger Deeds:

“The comprehensive plan is to reduce unnecessary risk of exposure to my employees and the public.”
