2 Vehicle Accident on Tin Top Road Results In Injuries

Granbury– at approximately 2:40 pm on Sunday June 23, 2019, the Texas Highway Patrol was notified of a two- vehicle crash at the intersection of Tin Top Highway and Hill Top Road in Hood County. Upon arrival the Troopers found that a 2005 Mercury driven by Roger Bunkley, 72 of Lipan was traveling south on Tin Top Hwy slowing to make a left turn onto Hill Top Road. At the same time, a 2017 Ford Focus driven by Tonie Valentine, a 22-year-old female from Granbury was traveling north on Tin Top approaching the Mercury. The driver of the Mercury failed to yield right of way and attempted to make the left turn onto Hill Top Rd. The Ford struck the Mercury on the right side with the front of the Ford. There were two female passengers in the Mercury, Lonnie Bradshaw, 72 of Granbury and 72-year-old Linda Britt of Granbury. Mrs. Britt was taken by air ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft Worth in serious condition. Mrs. Bradshaw was taken to Lake Granbury Medical Center in stable condition. the drivers were not treated.
