On Wednesday, January 25th around 6pm, the Hood County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit was conducting a drug investigation at the 1000 block of Crossland Rd. During the investigation, officers arrested 19 year old Joseph William Rowe and 22 year old Tyler Day Gatlin and charged them with Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone (felony 3-bond $10,000), Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone (class A misd-bond $5,000), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (class C misd-fine $305). Both were in possession of under a gram of cocaine, under 2 ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Both are currently in jail at press time.
