Street, Intersection Closures on Downtown Bridge St. in October
Granbury, Texas – On Monday, October 9, and continuing for two to three weeks, there will be street
and intersection closures on Bridge St. between Houston St. and Crockett St.
Bridge St., from Houston St. to Crockett St., will be closed for pavement repairs. This section of Bridge
St. will be closed beginning on October 9 and will remain closed until the entire area reopens in
approximately two to three weeks.
During this street closure, turning radius adjustments will also be addressed, starting with the Crockett
St./Bridge St. intersection. This intersection will be closed in addition to the Bridge St. closure starting
Tuesday, October 10. After the adjustments are completed at the Crockett St./Bridge St. intersection, that
intersection will be reopened. The Houston St./Bridge St. intersection will then be closed, and the turning
radius adjustments will be applied to this intersection.
An ongoing list of punch items for the Granbury Town Square Streetscape, Pavement, Drainage & Pavement
Marking Improvements project will also be addressed during the month of October.
Drivers and pedestrians on the square should follow instructions of posted safety and detour signage, and
not cross construction barricades.
