On 4-23-20 around 1232 pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to an
attempted kidnapping where two juvenile
girls ages 10 and 9 claimed two adult men
tried to grab them while they were walking
on Garry Ct.
Deputies located the 2 males in question
and placed them under arrest for
attempted kidnapping.
During the investigation an independent
witness was found, who saw the entire
incident. The witness’s statement did not
match what the juveniles told Deputies.
Due to the credibility of the evidence the 2
suspects were released, and charges were
dropped.
The case is still under investigation by the
Hood County Sheriff’s Office.
