DESPITE COVID-19, GRANBURY’S 2020 BUILDING PERMIT
NUMBERS CONTINUE TO OUTPERFORM 2019
Granbury, Texas – The City of Granbury’s building permit numbers for the month of November were released today, and like most every month in 2020 they show marked growth from the same time last year.
Of the 15 building permit categories, 10 of them showed outstanding double-digit growth from the same time last year.

These included:
• Building Plumbing (Residential) permits – from 30 to 44
• Building Mechanical (Residential) permits – from 8 to 34
• Irrigation permits – from 11 to 30

The only difference in the growth pattern was caused by the large hailstorm that rolled through Granbury on Oct. 21, 2019. This storm caused the amount of Residential Building
Permits (84) to spike because of the number of roofs that had to be replaced.

These numbers, and those from previous months and years, can be found on the City of Granbury website at www.granbury.org/1004/9815/Monthly-Building-Reports For questions or more information please contact Granbury Public Information Officer Alex Southern at 817-573-6764 or at asouthern@granbury.org.
